The Kalamazoo Symphony sits side by side with the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra for Jean Sibelius’ Second Symphony.

Peter Dugan, host of NPR’s youth-centered program From the Top, premieres a jazz-influenced piano concerto written by Peter and his brother Leonardo. Soaring, lyrical melodies, propulsive rhythms, and lush orchestration frame the athletic virtuosity of Peter’s pianism.
